Hi my name is Aimee Bailey, i'm a 28 years old, and I am the lead developer at a new start-up named Xpod Games. Based in the UK we are a compact indie company that builds action adventure and role-playing games for the PC and Xbox 360. I have been a programmer and general computer person since the late nineties, I started during work experience in a computer shop where I quickly became the main engineer even though I was not being payed lol.

Over the last few years I have build my skills through high-school and college, however not university. During around 2003-2004 things got to a point where it was either my studies or the roof over the head, so I chose to work and became a holiday rep. Through all the job's I had leading upto the launch of Xpod Games, I knew that my heart really wanted me to have something to do with computers, so I self taught any language I could get my hands on, this included every .Net language I could get my hands on, PHP, Ruby, Python, C++ and a LOT of Java/C#. 

Even to this day I am learning new things, and having started a games company I am having the absolute time of my life! If you have not played one of our games yet, then don't worry; I'm sure a game of ours (or engine of mine) will flash your way without you even knowing soon. It's I and Rob's life long goal to put a smile on your face and we will not rest till we get it!
