I turned 33 on Tuesday.  I'm old.  Not quite as old as would be reason for all of the frelling white hairs on my head, but old.

I'd love to blame it on a bunch of random young people who don't show much interest in polishing up their games to meet BYOND Strategy's feature standards, but somehow I don't think that's it. ;)

Tech Tree is a list of links about developer activity in BYOND Strategy, a guild run by unpaid volunteers on a game/development portal and software engine called BYOND.  Those curious about notes or YouTube videos I've cut out can view the original version.

The Magic Man's R.T.S Game has been added to the guild.  After last week's Tech Tree, an effort was made to add a commander role in order to make the game more focused on strategy than team-based action.  There's no download yet, but a server will be available for testing.

Acebloke has posted this month's AceMedalTable results.  Congratulations to Kisioj for obliterating everyone this month.  Congratulations also go to Ganing, Kozuma3 and Mastermatthew for their rule over 2009.

AceMedalTable records achievements in multiple games developed by Acebloke.  Many of the medals come from games in BYOND Strategy.

Vexonator updated his version of Kunark's tactical fantasy, Surreal Dreams.  The focus appears to be on bug fixes.  Another fix is planned to be released soon.  Players will have to pay attention to Vexonator's forum and word of mouth as there isn't a hub entry for automatic alerts.  Nag him. =)

I'm allowing myself to link to Geldonyetich's Project Shock report again.  He mentioned X-Com while trying to explain why there's no game yet.  Those drinking can take a shot. ;)

Plus, he dropped Calculus...  You can do that?  Granted, my college was churning out engineers, but I think it was a first year foundation course.

In a sad celebration of my birthday, I finally managed to finish the next version of my card-battling boardgame, PathWrath 2.  Medals are implemented and I added the ability to vote off players who take too long.  I'm holding off on a release until I host a couple test sessions.

Fooldom Come: One subscription. Many games.
