On behalf of the Center ...

On behalf of the Center for Technology and Society CTS and the CTS Game Studies, I'd like thank James for his time and effort to not only put together a well written article about the Brazilian games scenario, but also fly down here, talk, and learn about the various issues ...

Comment In: Heavy Dreams: Pushing Interactive Narrative [Feature - 11/30/2009 - 05:05]

I had a great time ...

I had a great time with Indigo Prophecy especially the first half and admire both Cage's and Fondaumiere's efforts. High expectations. As a narrative-driven player, this kind of game really peaks my interest. Not only that, but, as the developers', I also believe games can be a true form of ...

Though I won't go as for as boycotting the game http://steamcommunity.com/groups/L4D2boycott , I certainly won't buy it if I don't feel the need for ...

I would enjoy being able ...

I would enjoy being able to play a demo of the game before buying the game, even if simply allowed me a small amount of minutes.

Comment In: Game Writing From The Inside Out [Feature - 03/18/2009 - 06:55]

A short, but provocative topic. ...

A short, but provocative topic. Though the article is a very good read, I felt as I were reading more of an introduction or a prologue to an in depth analysis or debate. I agree with Ephriam's opinion, as it seems a really efficient way of having the player embrace ...

Comment In: Opinion: Creating Character Depth With Diaries [News - 03/10/2009 - 05:11]

I'm fond of this character ...

I'm fond of this character diary approach . As a game designer writer, I believe it helps you develop better characters as well as explore the backstory you've already created in order to clarify the narrative. I remember playing many games, not just RPGs, and reading actively the character diaries ...
