Brad Venable's Blog

As a voice talent, Brad Venable has been described as the 'everyman of now.'

He was once told that he was "holding down the XY...both generations...and chromosomes." The appropriately geeky compliment amused Brad.

Whether warm, fun, hip, fresh, friendly, sarcastic, wholesome, organic, real, wry, happy, or just plain energetic, Brad's years of experience have locked in the popular 'nowness' that you hear on radio and television from New York to Los Angeles.

Superheroes that save the day, godlike wizards that mingle with mortals just because he can, storytellers that set the scene for your next adventure, demonic hellbeasts that utter like the crack of doom, even the smartass narrator in Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded, and everything else in between...Brad has created characters that run the gamut of video games that kids (and those who still wish they were kids) play.

Computer tech, comic book collector, pop culture nerd, and player of games, Brad covers about every sub-culture cliché known to man, and can still sound like the coolest hipster to ever wear clothes ironically. Now that's irony for you.

Because of all these underground skills, he shares a kinship with the people buying and playing stuff now...why wouldn't you want someone whose finger is on the pulse of 'the now?'

I 'm having a lot ...

I 'm having a lot of fun with this game. I think that it 's valid to say that the campaign and multiplayer games are vastly different, but to say that you 're robbing a player of multiplayer mechanics in the campaign is only as valid as saying that you ...

Wonderful article. I see this ...

Wonderful article. I see this opening the door for a series of classic games that were groundbreaking in its level design. Very well done. One minor correction: Moblins were never in dungeons, those are Goriyas. Thanks again. Great read
