Caleb Garner's Blog

I'm a game Game Designer and Project Manager. My focus is on flash and social network game development although I've worked on many different projects in the past. I've spent the last couple years in Nashville, TN building an indie game development scene. Part12 Studios was a result of that and I hope to see more projects and companies develop here.

I'm sharing my notes from FGS 2009 in San Francisco. They are raw and scattered, but a lot of data was flying around and I did my best to record as much as possible. DISCLAIMER: some facts might be miswriten/typed, but i think it's pretty much right.

So we got a sponsorship, it was a bit of a reality check, however it could be a blessing in disguise. Also the lack of response from many (even reputable portals) was surprising.

Realizing as I went to set firm go live dates with our latest flash game, www.part12studios.com was still owned by a former partner. doh! However it actually all worked out for the best :)
