Daniel Pang's Blog

Hong Kong writer/editor who occasionally moonlights as one of those rare individuals with faith in the human race. We're not all that bad, not all the time.

Been writing essentially since birth for a wide range of materials ranging from personal creative work to academic essays, articles, reviews, novels, and short stories. Years of experience from early babblings ("A goo goo gah gah bloo bloo blah blah") to current work on metafictional adult fairytales, high fantasies punk enough to make Tolkien rise from his grave and start rocking out to Seven Nation Army, science fiction fiction enough to give Philip K Dick aneurysms and William Gibson an entire litany of cybernetic heart failures and satire biting enough to make Jonathan Swift lock himself in a hall of mirrors.

Currently works as a creative editor slash content writer in toys.

Email me at dwingkp@gmail.com with any creative job opportunities or copy editing. Competitive salaries are rare in the creative industry, so anything with that attached gets my immediate attention.

If not and you're just interested in doing something creative, hit me up and we'll do dinner or something. Let's play.

It was done out of anger ravings of a madman. I 've had the experience to know that doing anything out of anger on the internet is a recipe for disaster, and retracted the statement so cooler heads can discuss things in a rational and sane manner. r n r ...

America is a funny nation, ...

America is a funny nation, sometimes. r n r nIt still clings desperately onto the ghostly half-remembered wisps of what people used to call the American Dream - that if you worked hard at something you could achieve your dreams, that you could take the intangible and make it tangible ...

Who devalued the games on the market r n r nIt sure as fuck wasn 't the consumers. r n r nOne of the cardinal rules of selling anything is that you never, ever, under any circumstances, insult your customers. This is the death knell for any industry and any ...

@Bob r n r nIf it works with the games people are already buying, then why will they buy the figure r n r nUnless they 're collectors, that is. r n r nThe value of the game is in the game, not the plastic add-on.
