I figured for my first blog here I would just bring over an exciting announcement from my personal blog about this years GDC. 

Great news I will be returning to GDC this year as a CA AND a Speaker. I am extremely excited about this opportunity. I talked to my friend (and editor of gamecareerguide.com) Jill Duffy about possibly doing a panel about new hires in the industry a few months ago; she said she would think about it and see if they would have the time slot for it during the Friday Career Summit. Last month she sent me an email telling me they were going to do the panel and wondered if I wanted to be on it. DUH of course I would.

I am very excited to get this opportunity to talk to all kinds of people about how I broke into the game industry and how I got through our crazy interview processes.
