Jake Skinner's Blog

 

Jake Skinner is a Masters of Science student in Psychology at Sacred Heart University. He is focusing his research on cyberpsychology and the effect of digital media on analogical processes, and is expected to graduate in December, 2015. Jake currently works as a Community Training Specialist at YAI where he helps intellectually and developmentally disabled adults gain occupational and social skills in order to become more independent.

Jake has previously worked as a games journalist for several small outlets and has conducted interviews, walkthroughs, podcasts, and written reviews of games across many genres. He continues to remain engaged and up to date on game design and industry trends, and seeks a position as a Quality Control Analyst, User Experience Researcher, or entry-level Game Designer.
