Hear Hear r n r nThe problem of course as you point out, is we 're going for sales more than regular customers. In the board/card/role-playing communities there are HUNDREDS of smaller games out there for all the niches and they work at such low margins that it doesn 't ...

I agree that many times free updates are better then DLC 's. I 'm interested in seeing how FTL has done with it 's update/DLC as well as Endless Space. Hell Space Engineers nabbed me when they added Survivor Mode/and Multiplayer and that wasn 't DLC just a regular content ...
