Jason Carter's Blog

I am Jason Carter, aka WakeskaterX and am an indie game designer.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Japanese and World Business, am a self taught programmer and work as a Stationary Engineer at Johnson Controls.

I am constantly learning new programming languages and skills, and making new games for my portfolio to either work as a Game Designer in the video game industry some day or eventually start my own indie video game company.

The whole subscription vs. microtransaction paradigm is so limiting that it is crippling our industry. There are not two ways to monetize a game. There are millions, limited only by our imagination and our ability to articulate our ideas to our fellows. r n r nCould not agree more. Well, ...
