Jason French's Blog

Jason Townes French is an avid virtual worlds and game developer. A recent Computer Science graduate from Brown University, Jason moved out to Silicon Valley to work for Apple, Inc where he wrote sample code and books for the Mac Developer Program. His topics included those related to high-performance graphics and vector programming, such as vImage and vDSP. He also authored Apple's first edition of the OpenCL Programming Guide, which was introduced with Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

He currently runs his own indie game studio, Fantasy Hip Hop LLC (www.fantasyhiphop.com), which is releasing their first major desktop MMO, Fantasy Hip Hop™ RPG in Summer 2010.

To stay fed, he currently serves as CTO for FinancialOS, Inc, — a company creating the world's first meta operating system dedicated to financial services, as well as building the first FINRA-approved electronic stock market for private securities.

His interest include longboarding, music production, and imagining virtual worlds.

So true. The same goes ...

So true. The same goes for coding as well. Nothing worse than the sad case of the extremely talented ego coder who can't just KISS, acting as if every line of code is a reflection on their quality as a human being.
