Jon Robison's Blog

My name is Jon Robison, programmer, artist, design team, blablabla everything for bounty bandits. I've been a programmer for many years, mainly as a defense contractor on a large project (still full time). I've enjoyed recompiling many a kernel, reprogramming infrared controllers, cracking wireless networks, getting some lame overclocking records, game bots, emulation, etc boring junk some on my website.

In terms of games, I've made a variety. DOS text adventure featuring more conspiracies than enemy of the state. RPG where yoda goes back in time with stormtroopers to fight elves from stealing ultimate power from Santa Clause. Eight player coop zune rpgs with self generating quests (it was 2007, gimme a break). There's more - back with that absurdly high tier and along with a skype high five I can regale you about my plans to port border jumping bonanza to android.

I like creating, I don't know why I value it or have the drive but I do. I program 8 hours at Alion Science and Technology, then often come back and code for fun (because sedentary lifestyles are awesome?). I enjoy parody, double entendre, and whatever other lame English words justify being able to fight godzilla, pandas, and pedobear. I like open frameworks and value providing tools and support to end users.
