Karstein Roesnes Ersdal's Blog

For some peculiar reason, Gamasutra dislikes æøå in names, how odd. So for the record, my name is Karstein Røsnes Ersdal.  I'm a game designer from Norway. Yes we have a game industry here and it's really cool. Working with game design is a quality of life for me, and as a result, I do so over twelve hours a day.  I'm a part-time employee at Ravn Studio, Game Designer at startup Trollpants and secretary/board member for the eastern chapter of the Norwegian Game Developers Guild.

My fields of expertise are game mechanics and systems, and I mostly make mobile games.

You should add me on LinkedIn. Send me a mail at karsteinre[at] if you want to talk about anything. Anything at all.
