Kaylin Norman's Blog

My name is Kaylin Norman. I’m a young, autistic, African-American man with an unquenchable thirst to succeed. For as long as I can remember, my dream has been to become a game designer. I have studied on the side lines watching how the big game development companies move and operate.

I’m a I’m a fun loving person with an intense desire to create. I love laughing and have a good, if not extremely goofy sense of humor. Through humor not only can we express ourselves, but we can also laugh in harmony. I’m rather shy at first but grow and adapt quickly to new friends. Others have described me as accepting and caring of all walks of life; easily molding myself to match the personalities that I am presented with. Despite all of this though, I am also a hard-working man with a small case of perfectionism. My eye for detail is quite immense due to my years of drawing and creating. I have an extremely low tolerance for injustice of any kind (i.e bullying, picking on others, sexual harassment). I love giving and I love helping others. When I’m not working on my own jobs and tasks I tend to go around and ask others if they would like my assistance. I’m good at following directions and have a good work ethic.

My posts will be informative about the often tough transition from an "aspiring" designer to a game designer.

Join me as I take you down my narrow path of thoughts!

Good read Mr.Bateman. Really gets you to think about the base concept of a game. Guys, Art like most other expressive forms, is simply a matter of opinion the beauty lies not in the presentation but in how it is percieved. Not everyone likes Picasso yet we still see it ...
