A veteran digital media practitioner with a career spanning serious games, immersive learning simulations, eLearning and commercial web applications. In the mid 1990s he foudned an eLearning development studio (before 99% of people had ever used online learning) and, in 2001, he founded PIXELearning, one of the world's first 'serious games' development specialists.
Kevin has a proven ability to blends creativity, innovation, technical proficiency and commercial acumen to deliver large-scale, engaging, award-winning and effective digital media solutions. He has played a pivotal part in securing, designing and delivering major serious games (games-based learning) solutions to international clients such as KPMG, Comcast, Raytheon, Coca Cola, HP, Shell and PWC in the US, UK and EU. He also lead the development of serious games technology leading to a series of products/tools including business simulations, role play authoring tools and a real-time, synchronous multiplayer games-based leadership training platform.
Kevin is a frequent speaker, writer and blogger and has featured in several books, articles and industry reports. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Disaster Management, a course that exposed him to the world of NGOs, aid agencies and globalisation.
He has several tattoos, a strange fascination with the number 27 and is scared of spiders.
