Hi, my name is Laurence Nash, and I am currently an Associate Producer at indiePub.
I consider myself a student of console gaming first and foremost. I started with the NES back in 1987 and haven't looked back since. I am interested in all aspects of the game business, and have been a constant critic and analyst since I picked up my first gaming magazine at age 7.
I'm originally from Hawaii, but with some of my childhood spent in Japan and Washington. I am fluent in Japanese and English.
In my spare time, I love to do P90X, surf the web, write my thoughts and reviews on games and the game industry on my blog (cornbread.1up.com), hang out with family and friends, and enjoy the occasional nap.

I kind of wonder how ... I kind of wonder how it would have been like if the current gen consoles were released a year or two later than their original time frame. @Sean Parton I'm not discounting ... @Sean Parton I'm not discounting that there is an audience for long portable games, I personally prefer shorter games with a replayable core mechanic, like arcade games. You make a good example with Pokemon and Fire Emblem, and I had forgotten about that. When I compare GTA, Pokemon, and Fire ... |
