Hello guys & gals,

I just wanted to quickly remind everyone that reads Gamasutra -- and happens to be LA-based -- that we'll have our first meeting of the L.A. Chapter TONIGHT.

 Reboot

Yep, you read it right: IGDA Los Angeles is getting awesomely rebooted. And everyone is welcome -- even if you don't happen to be an IGDA member at this very instant :)

Why the early start time? Most developers I know in LA often don't leave work till at least 7 (because of traffic, because they have a lot to do, or because their work day is 10-7). Someone coming from a developer in the valley might have to leave work at 5:30 to make sure they make it, which isn't necessarily feasible. 8 would probably be a more reasonable start if you want to make sure as many people can come as possible.

Luis, I appreciate this effort. I think it's great. Unfortunately, I am seeing this a little too late to make it tonight. I look forward to seeing what happened this meeting and the schedule for future meetings.
