Martain Chandler is a completely unknown games analyst.
As a child he encountered SPI's American Civil War in 1974 which led to his now-popular gaming lifestyle at the meager cost of thousands of dollars. A various times he's been held in thrall by Mad Libs, board games, pencil-and-paper role-play games, console games, micro-games, dumb terminal games, Mac games, PC games, collectible card games, gambling, minatures, retro, MMORPGs, first-person shooters, real-time strategy, and Ace of Aces which the description "picture book game" does not do it justice.
Martain Chandler currently views the explosion of social media with a jaundiced eye. He remembers when everyone said VRML and Web Portals were going to be the Next Big Thing. Now he laughs, "people called me insane but I showed them!"
Martain Chandler is still a bit butt-hurt over the DotCom crash, apparently.
