In the struggle to revolutionize the game industry, indies have unfortunately succumbed to having a 1% which is highly successful. This is a call to action and a list of demands to keep the industry fresh and clean of data corruption.
In 1983, the North American video game console market crashed. Citing information from Wikipedia and its sources, I will look at modern parallels and how the game industry could reset again and possible reasons why it may need to.
I've been researching Kickstarter as a way to fund some of my game projects, and I've noticed a few interesting things. A lot of the projects on Kickstarter do a public pitch of their IP. The all-or-nothing paradigm reduces risk for both parties.
