Peter Bartholow's Blog

I'm a designer, currently working at Heavy Iron Studios in Los Angeles, CA. I've been in the industry one way or another for about 15 years now, starting out as freelance media in high school and then "graduating" to development after college. I plan to talk about what games I'm playing, if I'm liking them, and hopefully will be able to provide not-uninteresting insight as to why I feel the way I do. If and when I become comfortable with this, I may expand into some meatier stuff... but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I, too, think this sounds like a fun game. I express this sentiment in a wholly unbiased way that, most assuredly, has nothing to do with either of our previous employ. ...Do you think we fooled 'em, DRod

Comment In: Opinion: The Game Industry's PR Problem [News - 11/24/2008 - 06:33]

Hmm. It's interesting to see ...

Hmm. It's interesting to see PR people getting defensive, and asking the media to consider their point of view. Their entire job is to create a certain perception and disseminate information, and when the media doesn't buy into it, suddenly its the media's fault Welcome to meta-PR There are a ...

Comment In: Nintendo Announces MotionPlus Wii-mote Accessory [News - 07/14/2008 - 08:53]

I wouldn't be surprised if ...

I wouldn't be surprised if LucasArts showed their lightsaber game tomorrow, and this is packed in with it.
