Peter Lübeck's Blog

My name is Peter Lübeck and I am a game designer/producer. As co-founder, CEO and producer at Black Drop Studios I get to spend every day doing what I love. Working at a small company my daily routine is filled with a multitude of different tasks, ranging from project management, public and customer relations, game design, creative direction and more. The best thing is, I get to do all of these things in the company of a great, talented and creative team. I really couldn't ask for more, although managing your own studio has it shares of quirks and issues. Especially when it comes to managing work load, preparing for new projects during current ones etc. I read somewhere that you should "Do what you love in the company of people who love what you do". I think that pretty much says it all.

I mostly agree with the article, although I believe Kevin has described perfectly the main reason why I didn't enjoy Invisible War as much as the original. Deus Ex is simply too good. There are few, if any, other games that can live up to its standards, so even if ...
