Rom Domerson's Blog

Hey people,

Big video gaming fan and i personally blame those darn 2d beat em ups for pushing me towards a 2D animation/Visual artist maelstrom.

So far ive done alot of QA testing thinking it was going to help me land on an artist position in order to learn more about the industry and refine my skills. Guess i was dreaming in colors. So yeah, here i am, again QA-ing, jaded and working on my own prototype while learning things on my own. Is it going to help me get into the industry? Who knows, as long as i get to make my game, get critic and improve upon the feedback then work on the updates.

PS: I will speak my mind often with no intent on insulting anyone on the first post. Thus i am as blunt online as i am blunt IRL. But i always debate reasonably.

You got something interesting going on there. Id like to know if you checked out Call of Duty 4, a few missions in that game really get you deep inside some of theses soldier's minds, such as the famous sniper mission where you get to sneak around a german camp ...

Comment In: Street Fighter IV and the defenseless genre [Blog - 03/06/2009 - 01:27]

Just to be clear, I ...

Just to be clear, I didn't say the genre was dead yet, I'm saying it's headed that way. Far Faaaar from it bro. Capcom seriously delivered this time. BlazBlue is gonna add more spark to the 2d fighting game genre, Tekken 6, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, King of fighters 12 and ...
