They were synched at the dot level usually with an inverting XOR op , so the resolution had to match the original character dot resolution. 512x192 for the Model III. 640x240 for the Model 4 in 80x24 mode and 512x912 for the Model 4 in 64x16 mode. r n r ...

GameRanger was Mac-only until late 2008, so it 's mostly unknown despite hitting 5M members last month. r n r nBut yeah, there was quite a wide spectrum of what GameSpy-support actually meant depending on the game.
