Simon Love's Blog

Video Games Generalist, I am fascinated by all aspects of creation, from design to code, from graphics to music. I have worked in the industry as Sound Engineer, Game Designer and QA; as impossibly hard as it is, I find it very important to explore all facets of this craft by myself.

I play games since 1982 which might explain why I am thoroughly unable to get excited by the novelty of the next generation; Great potential but I'm still waiting to see something that hasn't been done a thousand times over in terms of gameplay and game design.

I still regularly revisit classics from the 1980s and 1990s regularly and haven't managed to lose my childlike wonder for 2d platformers
