I didn't put enough play time into this console during its release period. I was a bit distracted by the N64, rightfully so. A gamer only has so much time and attention span! A sad fact, as games are being pumped out faster than ever now.

Let's see, Twisted Metal 2 had me by the balls. Metal Gear Solid. Mega Man 8, ohhhh yeah. That's about it. My library was pretty limited on this console. A lot to want for. Did play Vigilante 8 though.... but only because it looked like Twisted Metal. I'd say gaming quality was way up there though, not so much because it's more of an 'adult' system so much as game design. They didn't hold back.

I really should have played Final Fantasy VII, and Lara Croft. Maybe Grand Theft Auto. Still didn't touch fighting, racing, or sports games much. Never have, just can't really get into them. Wow, a lot of sports games on this one, I think this is the console where the sports franchise wars were started with EA, and the other guys. Oddworld. Awwwww, I missed Resident Evil too. Man, I just wasn't on the ball.... I just hate conforming I guess. Spyro and Silent Hill too.... ugh. mmmm Manhunt.

logo What I learned: Simple controllers, are the best controllers. Sony will never truly improve upon the original design, and no one will ever beat it. If you can't play a game with four triggers, four main buttons, two joysticks, and a D-pad.... you're autistic or something.
