Steve Danuser's Blog

Like many lifelong gamers, Steve Danuser's passion was sparked by the arrival of the venerable Atari 2600. Known in the online world as Moorgard, Danuser and friends founded the Mobhunter opinion site to analyze and discuss MMO game play. He focused his knack for informative and entertaining discourse into the job of Community Manager for EverQuest II at Sony Online Entertainment, founding one of the strongest and most vibrant communities in the MMO space. He later became a designer on EverQuest II and contributed to the title's ongoing expansions, adventure packs, and live updates, including the popular Echoes of Faydwer. Steve is putting his talents for both community development and game design to use at 38 Studios on the company’s first title. Born in Minnesota, he earned a degree in English from Winona State University. Danuser continues to discuss game design on his web site, Mobhunter.com.
