Until these headsets have screens of a sufficient resolution 8k , mobile processors sufficient to power them, built-in positional tracking sufficient to track them without lag and with accuracy, and a way to switch between VR and AR, I can 't see the appeal.

In our game we have ...

In our game we have prefabs for different vehicles stored in the Resources folder. When we instantiate the prefab it pulls in all the assets mesh, textures, substances, etc from the regular asset database. Then when we destroy the vehicle we call UnloadUnusedAssets. Seems to work just fine

This probably gets mentioned everytime there 's a Unity update but, it would really be nice if they worked on fixing and updating systems that have been broken or outdated since, well, forever, rather than pushing out these less useful marquis features.
