Viral Installs - Getting Users to Share and Rate Your Game

What could be sweeter than getting more viral installs? The slides are discussing this topic specifically. By inspecting successful games and comparing them to others you can learn that the key elements for sharing are a great social narrative, optimizing the timing for poping up the question and make it incredibly easy to share.

The slides take into consideration 3 scenarios of sharing:

  • Rating/review of the game
  • Sharing on Facebook
  • Offline sharing / word of mouth

 

The slides were prepared for a session I'm giving a session at Casual Connect in San Francisco. I'm sharing them here for those of who who are attending. You can view the slides in advance and even save them on your computer. 

The session will take place at the Franciscan Ballroom in the 2nd floor and will start at 3:30pm on Wednesday, July 23rd. It's part of the Game Design track. Here is a link to the conference agenda and more details. Hope to see all of you there.
