After reading this article, and hearing the latest news about one more developer turning from consoles to mobile i thought that now that the smoke has started settling, and the hype of mobile and facebook started fading, and since it appears that while things are definitely not the same anymore, consoles and handhelds are not going anywhere, perhaps it is a good time to ask this question.

Many people lost their jobs, many people quit their jobs as their studios were transforming, many new studios came up, and here we are, still doing what we love most. Or trying to stay in the loop and evolve one way or the other.

I for one after years of console and PC development responded as radically as the the challenge demanded and jumped headfirst into pure mobile development to get a good grasp of the core tech, trends and pace. Reach new resources. Now i feel more ready to respond to the challenge and task ahead. What is your story? What are you up to?
