Our Global Game Jam Game, ARE, we needed levels that were procedurally generated on the fly. In this post, I outline how I set about implementing this feature in the little time I had.
The New York Times Magazine published a piece on "stupid games", and the threat of impending hyper-addictive games. Unfortunately, it is just another in a long string of articles that misrepresents our industry through ignorance.
