I am currently a doctoral student in Organizations and Management at the University of California: Irvine. I also hold a Master’s in Business Administration in Human Resources from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. My research focuses on gender and sexual orientation diversity and discrimination in the workplace. Specifically, I am interested in the ways in which gender stereotypes and helping behaviors intersect in the workplace, in masculinity and male gender discrimination, and in the experiences of sexual minority employees in hostile organizational cultures. Prior to receiving my MBA, I worked for over two years at Electronic Arts as a Compliance Manager in their Quality Assurance department, and at Vivideni Universal Games (currently Activision-Blizzard) as a Quality Assurance tester.
