I'd like to pay my ...

I'd like to pay my respects to all the writers mentioned...and those who weren't. Industry notables or not, the act of writing and telling stories is most likely a passion that drives us and to be able to live and attain success through it is the dream of many. Though ...

Comment In: Gamasutra's 20 Game Writers: The Audience Response [News - 02/26/2009 - 05:45]

It's enjoyable to see that ...

It's enjoyable to see that many writers, industry notables or not, commented the article and spawned so many other suggestions. I hope this discussion continues on the original link.

Comment In: IGDA Announces Student Scholarships to GDC 2009 [News - 02/17/2009 - 06:45]

Congratulations to all of those ...

Congratulations to all of those awarded May they make the most out of it, because it is a life-time opportunity. One, that I myself, plan to live one day :

Comment In: LittleBigPlanet, Braid, Left 4 Dead Lead Game Developers Choice Award Finalists [News - 02/09/2009 - 05:51]

I haven't had the chance ...

I haven't had the chance to try out all of these games, but the ones I have, I know deserve to be there. I wonder what the results will be, especially for writing.

Comment In: 38 Studios Hosting Massachusetts GameJam [News - 02/06/2009 - 12:01]

@ Wyatt Epp I thought ...

@ Wyatt Epp I thought the same thing. 38 Game Development studios hosting together a single event. It is a nice sight to see nevertheless. If I weren't so far away, I'd participate. Luckily Brazil recently enjoyed the Global Game Jam along with the rest of the world.

Comment In: Analysis: Ruben & Lullaby's Improv Love Story [News - 02/03/2009 - 05:59]

Fa ade was an excellent ...

Fa ade was an excellent experience, with flaws and all, but experimentally refreshing, nonetheless. From what I've read, Ruben Lullaby follows the same path: experimental and faulty, yet notable. May they pave the road for future experimentation and involvement between narrative and interaction in games creating one big emotional experience.

Comment In: Road To The IGF: Tale of Tales' The Graveyard [News - 01/30/2009 - 01:00]

The Graveyard is truly an ...

The Graveyard is truly an incredible experience. I personally admire how much effort went into creating, above all, an emotional experience for the player and not necessarily the demonstration of interactivity through button mashing. Seldom is death treated in such a serious manner. When I think of death in gaming ...

Comment In: Fallout 3, Tomb Raider, Red Alert 3 Nominated By Writers Guild [News - 01/13/2009 - 05:37]

As a writer it is ...

As a writer it is always a pleasure to storytelling encouraged in games. Though I haven't played all of these games. I guess they contribute to storytelling in their own distinct genre and manner after all they're being nominated . The most important part though, is recognizing their efforts and ...

Comment In: The Most-Awaited Games Of 2009: Xbox 360 [News - 01/06/2009 - 06:00]

Curiously only 5 out of ...

Curiously only 5 out of all the games seem to be exclusive. It seems both developers and publishers have realized multi-platforming is far more lucrative.

Comment In: Interview: Capcom's Nakai On Remaking Dead Rising For Wii [News - 01/06/2009 - 05:00]

It makes sense to speed ...

It makes sense to speed up some zombies, after all there won't be as many around as there were in the original on-screen at a given time. On the 360 there were so many zombies after you, you didn't need any of them to be faster. It's also curious to ...
