David Hoppe's Blog

 

David Hoppe is principal lawyer of Gamma Law, based in San Francisco.  He has represented clients in media and video games businesses for much of his career of over twenty years, with a particular focus on international transactions. David also represents VR startups and investors with VR-specific content and technology issues as well as general corporate and transactional matters.  David’s experience includes a one-year term as Interim General Counsel, USA, of a major Japanese game publisher. Other experience includes seven years with two large international law firms, during which time he was based in New York City, Tokyo, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Los Angeles. David also worked for nearly two years as in-house international counsel with a NASDAQ-listed Silicon Valley internet media company. Prior to beginning the practice of law, David studied and worked in Tokyo and Osaka. He speaks Japanese proficiently.
