Yeah, generally the trailer itself ... Yeah, generally the trailer itself tells you nothing since it is just pre-rendered prettiness and has little to do with gameplay. r n r nA good let 's play video on the other hand, goes a long ways towards letting you know what the game will be like, and seems ... |

I 'm not a lawyer, ... I 'm not a lawyer, but my understanding is that your company cannot legally claim anything you do outside company time resources. As long as your work doesn 't use their time, machines, or ideas, you are good to go. You should not be in danger from your employer. I ... |

I had to stop and ... I had to stop and think a bit when I read this, because when I read the Revenge of the Titans data about how their demos were pointless and that people bought based on videos I imemdiately thought Yes, indeed, I totally do that But then I hit your comment ... |

Sounds great. I 'm way ... Sounds great. I 'm way more likely to play WoT with this model than I was before. I 'm already a big fan of the LoL approach and have paid accordingly , and would love to see more games go this path. |

I think the thing that ... I think the thing that really sets EVE apart though, is the ability to take away that in-game content from other players. Specifically, let 's say you buy that CNR with RL currency, while I earn mine by time spent in game. The likely result is that I will have ... |

@Benjamin - I 'm perfectly ... @Benjamin - I 'm perfectly happy to have her discussion here with its directly corresponding examples. It is clearly an opinion piece, but it comes along with good supporting research and an enjoyable delivery. If someone wanted to debate with it, she has clearly laid out her material and expressed ... |

I think you are bang ... I think you are bang on with this one. The advertising potential for this alone is huge, and there are so many other applications for that kind of detailed profiling. This is absolutely a large step on a path we do not wish to tread upon. |

@Ramin: Very cool to hear ... @Ramin: Very cool to hear you did design work for SG. I would not have guessed that. I happily played that game for many years, and ended up doing their fight balancing system PR , assorted unit design, and their F2P design barbaric by modern standards I 'll grant, but ... |

Sony 's presentation felt like ... Sony 's presentation felt like they were selling their box as the combination of a console and Facebook. Facebook is a loathesome platform for gaming, not so much for what it could do, but for the business models that have taken hold there. Oh boy, I can spam my friends ... |

I had pretty much the ... I had pretty much the same reaction to Mechwarrior Tactics that you seem to have. I really enjoy turn based gaming, and I loved the original Battletech game and many of its descendants, so I was quite interested to see what MW Tactics had to offer. However, once I realized ... |
