What if crowdfunding was reverse engineered as a marketing platform rather than a capital financing tool?
The video game industry is entering market maturity and with that comes a string of quality issues. Here's a quick look at what I mean.
Video Game Whales have been discussed frequently but with little insight to the financial nature of the “beast”. A whale is a user who is spending a significant higher amount on your game through microtransactions (MTX).
WildStar has launched a brilliant monetization system which should prove to be a game changer.
I'm picking a fight with any studio who doesn't think Community Management is important. I've seen it yield amazing results, so here are some examples of why you need it as a part of your strategy
No one seems to be talking about this and yet most main stream titles are adopting it. It's the latest chapter of the microtransaction controversy.
