Makarand has more than 15 years of experience building hardware and systems involving networking and graphics technologies within innovative companies.

As Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at CiiNOW, Inc., Makarand is responsible for aligning technology vision with business strategy, and overseeing the integration of all technology initiatives for the Cloud Gaming company.

Prior to CiiNOW, Makarand served in senior management positions at NVIDIA Corporation where he was responsible for bringing multiple breakthrough GPU chips to market. Before that, he worked as a Sr. Design Engineer at Maple Optical System where he architected the hardware for the company’s switching platform.

Makarand received a BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and a MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University
