Mike Goslin's Blog   Expert Blogs

A respected veteran of the interactive entertainment industry, Mike Goslin is the general manager of Rebel Entertainment, an innovative game studio currently developing and publishing social and web-based games. Rebel Entertainment is owned and operated by IAC, a prominent media and internet company with more than 50 leading consumer brands. 

Before Rebel Entertainment, Mike led a venture-backed startup and created Superstar City, a groundbreaking experience that combined the rich immersion of virtual worlds with the powerful community of social networks. 

Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Mike was Vice President of Virtual World Design and Development at the Disney Interactive Media Group. There he developed an entirely new online business for Disney by creating a uniquely successful portfolio of virtual worlds, including the award-winning Toontown Online, Pirates of the Caribbean Online, Pixie Hollow, and The World of Cars Online.  

Before he pioneered online games and virtual worlds at Disney, Mike led the Walt Disney Imagineering VR Studio in the development of several innovative virtual reality theme park attractions, including “Aladdin’s Magic Carpet Adventure,” “Hercules’ Adventure in the Underworld,” and the award-winning “Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold.”

Mike holds a Masters in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
