Mike Wilson's Blog   Expert Blogs

Mike Wilson has worked in executive management for independent developers (id, Ion Storm) and publishers (Gathering of Developers, Gamecock, Devolver Digital) since he was 24.  He has fought the good fight for Indie rights throughout his career and he and his partners have greenlit and produced more than 50 major game projects spanning all genres and platforms with independent developers around the globe.  Every single one of those developers has retained their IP rights, been branded and promoted over the publisher, and enjoyed the highest royalty rates that the industry has to offer.  Many of these developers have become millionaires in the process, an accomplishment of which Wilson is most proud.

He is currently working at Devolver Digital and Gambitious, Inc., as well as heading up Devolver's new indpendent film distribution effort, Devolver Digital Film.
