True, stories definitely can 't ...

True, stories definitely can 't be reduced to mere cause-effect But I 've seen a bunch of great storytellers cite cause-and-effect/action-and-reaction as the backbone of a great story. My fave piece of advice is from Matt Stone Trey Parker South Path, The Book of Mormon , on THEREFORE/BUT storytelling: ...
