Ted Brown [LinkedIn] is a founder and Game Director at The Ninja Baseball Company, an independent game studio based in Oregon and Texas. He also works as a creative consultant, and is currently booked as a writer on an unannounced game project.
Before this, he was a Lead Game Designer at Buzz Monkey Software, working with publishing giants like Activision, Electronic Arts, and Zynga, on titles ranging from Tony Hawk to Tomb Raider to FrontierVille.
He is a graduate of the Guildhall at SMU.

For me, it's hammered home ... For me, it's hammered home the concept of indie titles as consumable products, especially when the title takes a primitive game form platforming, for example , wraps it in novel aesthetics and garnishes with new mechanics. I once had the first ... I once had the first issue of Game Developer magazine, the one with Doom on the cover, I believe. Then I donated my entire collection to the Guildhall. Nintendo Fan Club magazine, Nintendo Power, GamePro, EGM... they dumped it all after I left. : |
