Hey, my name is Tyler Glaiel. I started programming Flash games when I was 11, and have placed most of my games on my site and Newgrounds ( http://www.glaielgames.com/games.php), ranging from the crappy "first games" and experiments to recent critically-acclaimed works such as Aether and Closure.
Currently I am still working on pushing the boundaries of Flash Games, but also beginning to venture out and do some larger standalone games (including a new version of Closure, www.closuregame.com/blog).
I really wish to help evolve the medium, exploring original gameplay mechanics and storytelling mechanisms in my works. I enjoy what I do, and am proud to say that I've never held a "real" job, even throughout high school.
Expect to see more of me in the future, I'm only 19 and just getting started!

I'm surprised you didn't mention ... I'm surprised you didn't mention Tetris, but then again you seemed to have more of a focus on multiplayer. If you do look at tetris though, imagine it without the random factor. After enough tries, you'd figure out the optimal pattern to the game, and it would no longer be ... |

Mark: Simple and few mechanics ... Mark: Simple and few mechanics few patterns short fun. This is not the case. My project right now closure has a few mechanics in it, but had tons of patterns possible for puzzle design, due to the way mechanics interact with each other. |
