Why I Got Into the Industry:

Like most of the best designers out there,
I wanted to create something. I was fascinated by technology and game
theory/mechanics. That and I thought I could do a better job than some of
the games that I had seen.

Overly huge budgets given to people that don't
have a clue to design an online role-playing game. Even worse, subjecting
the public to the finished product. ARGH!

I wanted to find other people in the industry
that 'get it' to share ideas with, and I wanted to find a few that 'don't
get it' to help out a bit. : )

Some huge international conglomerate asks me
if I would be interested in an unlimited budget and resources to develop
things the right way. I, of course, say yes, but right before I can
sign the check they change their mind and say that they would rather produce
a full motion video adventure starring the kids on Southpark.
