General Game Design
The current console and handheld owner is our target market, one which we see as having unmet market needs. There are over 90MM gaming consoles and 140MM handhelds in homes around the world. We will target this large consumer base by exceeding their expectations of what can be done on the iPhone.
There is a serious gap in quality and depth of the typical iPhone game when compared to those found on competing platforms (Nintendo DS and Sony PSP). The iPhone gaming market needs deeper titles with higher perceived values in order to take market share from the traditional game publishers. Our plan is to create a licensable engine while developing our own titles, similar to the Epic approach on consoles, to accomplish this.
Rock Ridge Games will be on the forefront of game design and technology when it comes to user-generated content and in-game communities. By empowering users we will create instant spokespeople for our titles and generate great PR opportunities.
