Description: IGX - Interactive Game Experience is a fun exhibit and marketing tool for the electronic game industry. Consisting of six portable, dynamic video game environments that tour nationally, IGX contracts with events ranging from fairs, festivals, colleges, consumer shows and conventions.

IGX was started five years ago by live entertainment veteran Michael Sawicky to address the need for “alternative” and “fresh” entertainment ideas for a number of his county fair clients in California. What started as a one-time event for a few fairs quickly grew into what are now five separate traveling units that move across the country, serving hundreds of thousands of “gamers” of all ages at over 145 events annually.

What sets IGX apart from other entertainment offerings is a simple concept of touring with a wide array of video game systems and software titles that make it unique and a stand-alone product. IGX remains the only national tour to offer video gaming entertainment from all the major console manufacturers and software developers. Unlike other tours that are based on one game or one system, IGX offers a wide choice of gaming at every level for every video gamer that experiences IGX. Based on the concept of “free” play for all those who visit IGX, the company is compensated by event producers and presenters to appear as an added-value form of entertainment. The enormity of the video game industry has made video game-play a major part of today’s entertainment fabric and IGX captures that audience and achieves what very few other events consistently do – attract that younger, harder to reach demographic.

Currently based in San Francisco area, the company employs five professional touring crews and operates additional sales & operations offices in New York, San Francisco and Nashville.

IGX is planning its first tour abroad to Australia in the Fall of 2009. Asian, South American and European tours are in the planning stages for the latter part of 2010.
