Nice Nun

Marvin the Goat-Fish,
Zork: Grand Inquisitor
Activision, 1996

Marvin the goat-fish is the most capricious and finicky character I ever had to animate. All the fish does is argue with the player and disappear into the water. There was a lot of innovation we tried on this project - our first experience with the ‘Monkey’ motion capture system, first application of our custom lipsynch tool created by our programmers (there were no commercial plugins for lipsynch then).
