This was done for the Starsiege compendium at Dynamix. The Compendium was a 156 page full color book that shipped with the game.You can read about it on my site if interested. This was the first complete painting I did in Photoshop. I had no idea how I was going to do this when I started but I couldn't see why it wouldn't work.
