| Bio: |
| I am an Illustrator by trade making
my living in the digital world of a games and web dominated field. I find
the computer both liberating and confining. I live in the northwest in microsoft
territory but originated in Southern California. I work on my own in my studio
in the forested hillsides outside Seattle, always on the lookout for a cool
project to sink my teeth into. I am a Graduate of Art Center College of Design
in Pasadena with a major in illustration and a minor in fine art. Lately
the bulk of my work has been website related but my flexibility lends itself
to about any job that comes along whether it be print, animation, illustration,
visual concepts for games, or textures etc. |
| Inspiration: |
| I get inspired from various sources.
Sometimes when I see aerial photos of geography or microscopic creatures
I'll get an idea, you never know with me. Artists include N.C.Wyeth, Antonio
Gaudi, Friedrich, Suesse, Tooker, Hopper, Magritte, Escher, Nikola Tesla,
Rockwell Kent, Goya, Egon Shiele, Karl Blossfeldt. |
| Favorite Game Art: |
| Probably "Riven" |
| Why I Got into the Industry:
|
| The immense possibilities lend
to a person with potential. |
| Tools I Can't Live
Without: |
Adobe Photoshop, anything I can
think in the way of color, form, depth, can be done here from an visual point
of view, I don't know where to start.
Adobe After Effects, to make my stuff move this tool is so flexible it's
like the swiss army knife of 2d animation. Unlike the usual tool that does
everything, it does everything well.
Adobe Illustrator, clean graphics with professional tool facility, easily
ported to the next program for use. my eps workhorse |
