Obsidian Guardian
Obsidian Guardian

“Obsidian Guardian” was created in Poser, Bryce, and Photoshop for Sanctum (www.digitaladdiction.com). This piece began in Poser where I created the two inter-related figures. I exported them to Bryce where I textured them differently and built them a background. I rendered three versions in Bryce before I moved into Photoshop. I then combined all three rendered versions to create the Obsidian textures I wanted. I altered the victim (giving him clothes, adding hair and fixingup his arm) and the Guardian herself (supplying eyes and decorations). I used a photograph to change the flat stone wall behind them, but kept the Bryce stone in the darker curved area.
