3DmeNow Speaks Out!

BioVirtual has launched its latest 3DMeNow software demo on their website. This program now allows both non-artists and 3d modelers to create their own 3D models of anyone, directly from photographs or artwork quickly, and then users can add animation and voice to the resulting models.

BioVirtual's intelligent mesh allied with technology from LIPSinc allows the user to input ANY .wav file and make their creation talk with accurate lip-syncing.

BioVirtual has designed this for multiple applications, including police art, human identification, forensic reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, physiotherapy and ergonomics, but admits that it will find the most use in video games and video effects, web content and interactive learning.

The commercial release of 3DMeNow PRO software will be available on November 1st 2000, for an introductory price of $1999.
