Cycore Announces Cult3D Exporter for Maya

Cycore has released the Cult3D Exporter for Alias/Wavefront software. The free Cult3D Exporter software allows Alias/Wavefront software users to export models created in the Maya 3D animation and visual effects software directly to Cycore Cult3D. Cult3D then allows artists to create interactive 3D objects for the Web, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. It is the first 3D exporter software available for Maya from a third-party developer.

Cycore will showcase the Cult3D Exporter for Maya at select Alias/Wavefront 3December events. Alias/Wavefront set up 3December as a global annual event designed to build community among professionals in the industrial design, film and video, computer games, and interactive and visualization sectors. The multi-city event will be held in more than 30 major cities across the world on December 3. In addition, starting November 10, 2000, Alias/Wavefront and Cycore will hold a `Cult3D Exporter for Maya' competition, open to Maya software users, with details available on the companies websites.
